D. Aster Gallery believes that trust is an essential part of the art collecting experience. We treat our clients' information with absolute confidentiality, respect, and responsibility.

Our Privacy Policy was developed in compliance with the General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13.709/2018 - LGPD) and observes internationally recognized principles of personal data protection applicable to commercial relations with collectors in Brazil and abroad.

By acquiring an artwork from D. Aster Gallery, you can be assured that your information will be used exclusively for the purposes described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We only maintain the following data: name, email, phone number, and the record of the acquired artwork, which is necessary for issuing the Certificate of Authenticity and maintaining the provenance history. We do not collect or store banking or payment card data.

2. Purpose

To identify the collector; issue and register Certificates of Authenticity; maintain provenance history; provide customer service; communicate information related to the purchase, and comply with any applicable legal obligations.

3. Payments

All payments are processed directly in a secure environment by Mercado Pago. D. Aster Gallery does not receive, view, or store credit card, debit card, bank account data, or any financial information used in the transaction.

4. Security

We adopt technical and administrative measures to protect the information under our responsibility. Data access is restricted and limited to the purposes described in this Policy.

5. Rights of the Data Subject

You may request access, correction, update, or deletion of your data when permitted by law, as well as clarifications regarding the processing carried out.

6. Retention

Information is kept only for the period necessary to preserve the history of authenticity and provenance of the artworks, fulfill collectors' requests, and comply with legal obligations.

7. Updates

This Policy may be revised periodically to reflect improvements or legislative changes.

Confidentiality Commitment

D. Aster Gallery recognizes that the privacy of its collectors is integral to the relationship of trust that sustains the art market. For this reason, we adopt a permanent policy of confidentiality, limiting the collection of information to the minimum necessary for the identification of the collector, the issuance of the Certificate of Authenticity, and the support related to the acquired artworks. We do not commercially exploit personal data, we do not keep clients' financial information, and we preserve discretion as one of the institutional values of the gallery.
